Berkeley Harbor Sailing Instruction Since 1939

Berkeley Harbor was designed to utilize the winds coming from the Golden Gate in the Spring/Summer and from North in the Fall/Winter.   Students have been learning how to sail from the Berkeley Marina since 1939.   The San Francisco Bay is one of the great sailing places in the world, a home for Sail GP, America’s Cup, but especially for all of those who like to cruise inside the protected waters of the Bay or out the Golden Gate to adventures along that Pacific Coast and beyond.

Learn how to sail in Berkeley with our US Sailing Instructors at Sailing Portal.  Sailing Portal instructors have an ease of teaching that comes with years of experience.  Our instructor’s camaraderie promotes the sharing of collective knowledge, so students get the best instruction adapted to their needs.
